I See You. I Used To Be You.

For twenty years, you have been the fixer. The scheduler. The one everyone else leans on. And somewhere in the middle of all that giving, you quietly set yourself aside.

This is the place where you get to pick yourself back up.

Why This Exists

Every story here starts the same way. A woman in her forties or fifties, decades deep into taking care of everyone but herself, finally asking the question that keeps her up at 2am: if I don’t do something for myself right now, when will I?

These are not advice columns. They are not lectures. They are stories, real in feeling even when the names are not, about women who stopped waiting for permission and started chasing the thing they buried a long time ago.

Maybe it is a novel. A marathon. A business. A skill she gave up on before anyone told her she was allowed to have it back.

What You'll Find Here

Every story falls into one of four honest, familiar places:

Mindset:

The guilt of choosing yourself, and the fear of what people will say when they find out.

How-To & Goal-Setting

Breaking a goal so big it feels impossible into somethign you can actually do before the house wakes up.

Learning Lessons.

What happens when it does not go to plan, and why that is not the end of the story.

Identity & Reclaiming Self.

Holding your ground. Saying no. Becoming someone again, not just somethign to everyone else.

The Belief Behind It All

If you want something badly enough, you will find a way to achieve it. You do not need a miracle. You just need to break your biggest, scariest goal into bite-sized pieces, and commit to one small, imperfect action every single day.

That is the whole philosophy. Everything else is just the story of how it looks in someone else’s life, so you can see how it might look in yours.

You do not have to have it figured out. You just have to start.
